Even after the Bitteren 2-2 final whistle at Inter Milan, Thomas Müller was the focus of the fans. The 35-year-old had just ended his interview on the edge of the field when the Bayern fans sang his name loudly.
“I don’t have any sentimental moments today. But the body reacted when I had a slight approach of goose bumps,” said Müller later in the mixed zone of the stadium.
Müller: “Really clumsy goals”
