FC Bayern has made a long-term commitment to three talents from the club’s second team and U19 team. Vincent Manuba (18) and Grayson Dettoni (18), who played for the regional league team for the first time this season, as well as Maximilian Schuhbauer (17), who is regularly called up for the juniors, each signed a new contract until 2026.
“We are pleased that we were able to extend the contracts with these guys. All three have been with us at the academy for a long time and have been playing for our youth teams for many years,” explained Halil Altintop, sporting director of the FCB campus. After moving from the USA to Germany in 2015, central defender Dettoni came to Bayern via TSV 1860 Munich in 2017. Manuba has been playing in the record champions’ youth team since 2016 and, like central and right-back Schuhbauer, who moved to FC Bayern in 2019, has also appeared several times in the UEFA Youth League.
