Chelsea’s Chalobah as a substitute?

The long wait is over: Benjamin Pavard’s move from FC Bayern to Inter Milan is perfect. The French national player is said to have signed a contract with the Nerazzurri until 2028. The 27-year-old defender is leaving Munich a year before the end of his contract, giving the German record champions another 30 million euros. Another 2 million to 3 million euros could follow through bonuses.

As a result, FC Bayern’s transfer income has risen to EUR 133 million, the Munich club has never booked more in a single season. In Bundesliga history, only BVB (EUR 271 million in 2017/18) and RB Leipzig (EUR 241 million in 2023/24) are ahead of Bayern. The FCB income of 155 million euros is offset by Bundesliga record expenditure.
