Actually, FC Liverpool Luis Díaz did not want to give up. But FC Bayern still tries it – and now apparently is serious.

FC Bayern Munich has apparently made a first offer for wing strikers Luis Díaz from FC Liverpool. The “Bild” newspaper reports. Accordingly, the German record champion offers 52 million euros for the services of the Colombian. According to a report by the Spanish radio station “Cadena Ser”, the demands of the English master amount to 80 million euros. With this sum, Díaz may leave the club.

However, whether a deal actually comes about is uncertain: According to the “Bild” newspaper, the pain limit of the Munich is 60 million euros plus possible bonus payments.

The TV broadcaster Sky had already reported that Díaz had informed his club to be able to change a change in a suitable offer.

These developments are particularly exciting because FC Bayern reported to the first weeks ago about a possible transfer from Díaz at Liverpool. However, the English champion is said to have given the interest a categorical cancellation and declared Díaz to be unsalable. That now seems to have changed.

As Sky continues, there has been contact between Bavaria’s sports director Max Eberl and the management of Díaz in the past few days. A specific offer or an agreement has therefore not yet existed. Bavaria from FC Barcelona, who is also interested in Díaz.

Díaz himself was addressed at the airport in his Colombian homeland on his future planning. “We are in negotiations. We talk to Liverpool and with everyone who reports,” he said. “I am very quiet, very happy – I want to make the best decision for myself,” continued Díaz. His contract at Liverpool FC runs until summer 2027.

In any case, interest is great at FC Bayern. Honorary President Uli Hoeneß and ex-board boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge also thought a lot of the Colombian. However, a transfer is complicated and accordingly the Munich also checked other options.
