FC Bayern and Co. outdone? BVB lands sensational transfer coup

Borussia Dortmund has once again preempted FC Bayern on the transfer market. BVB could have pulled off a real coup.

As the usually well-informed and club-related “Ruhr Nachrichten” reports, the only 15-year-old offensive player Ousmane Diallo is drawn from Deportivo Alaves to Borussia Dortmund.

His change should take place in the summer. The Spanish U16 national player is already planned for the U19 at BVB.

The 1.81 meter tall winger convinced the Dortmund scouts with his dribbling skills, his speed and his goal threat. He should live at BVB in the youth center.

According to the report, numerous other clubs are at a disadvantage when courting Diallo, who is apparently believed to have a similar positive development at the Revierklub as the young Englishman Jamie Bynoe-Gittens recently: Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao should also try to attract the new BVB talent have like FC Bayern.

The interest from Munich was apparently particularly intense: In April, rumors made the rounds that Diallo’s move to Bayern Munich was fixed. Ultimately, however, BVB probably won the race for Diallo.

BVB and not FC Bayern is the contact point for top talent

Last but not least, the good development prospects there should have convinced the youngster to switch to the black and yellow.

In the past, BVB has already attracted today’s top stars like Jude Bellingham to the Ruhr area. The 19-year-old, who is expected to join Real Madrid in the summer for up to 150 million euros, was also on the cards at FC Bayern and numerous other top clubs before his transfer to Dortmund.

BVB had also shown a fine transfer nose in recent years with Jadon Sancho or Erling Haaland – even if both now earn their money in the Premier League.
