So far, the club World Cup has not been a big challenge for FC Bayern. Financially, the tournament is already worthwhile for the club – and could continue to do so.

Even before the last group game of the club World Cup, it is clear that FC Bayern is qualified for the round of 16. After the 10-0 gala at the start against Auckland City, the Munich gave no navigations against the Boca Juniors’ top Argentine Club and won 2-1. The game against Benfica on Tuesday evening (from 9 p.m. in the live ticker at T-Online) is thus degrading to a game without the great sporting importance.

However, participation in the tournament and the previous achievements are already giving Bayern a high amount of money. The European clubs receive between $ 12.81 and $ 38.19 million, i.e. between 11.17 and 33.29 million euros. According to T-online information, Bayern can expect around 30 million euros in this context.

The German record champion has already taken four million US dollars, the equivalent of around 3.4 million euros, the two victories against Auckland and the Boca Juniors. Because: According to FIFA, a victory in the group phase brings two million dollars (1.7 million euros).

Accordingly, Borussia Dortmund has taken three million dollars (2.6 million euros). For a tie there is one million US dollars in the preliminary round. So far, BVB has played draws and won once. According to “ZDF”, the start of the district club’s start of the district should be six million euros lower than that of FC Bayern, so it is likely to be around 24 million euros.

With a win against Benfica, FC Bayern could earn another 1.7 million euros. Due to the round of 16, it is already clear: 7.5 million additional US dollars (6.54 million euros) will hike to the account of Germany’s flagship association. A sum that BVB could still achieve should move into the round of the last 16.

If the two clubs reach the quarter-finals, a further $ 13,125 million (11.44 million euros) wave. If the semi -finals are added $ 21 million (18.3 million euros), $ 30 million in the final. If Bayern or Dortmund win the tournament, you can even look forward to over $ 40 million, i.e. 34.87 million euros.

In the best case, Bayern or BVB would take over 100 million euros: a sum that other Bundesliga clubs can only dream of. The club World Cup becomes an extremely lucrative affair for the two German top clubs.
