Almost every top team in Europe is interested in signing Kennet Eichhorn from Hertha BSC with an exit clause. Of course, Bundesliga clubs like FC Bayern, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund also threw their hat into the ring for the super talent. According to reports, the Berliners’ 16-year-old homegrown player will probably not be drawn to BVB.

As the “WAZ” reports, there is an immediate need for action in transfer poker for the services of Kennet Eichhorn. The midfield jewel does have an exit clause in his working paper that allows him to say goodbye to the capital, but this should have an expiry date. Accordingly, the 16-year-old can only change for a rumored ten to twelve million euros in a few weeks.

However, the report does not reveal exactly when the exit option will lose its validity. It is likely that interested parties will be able to make use of the clause “in the first weeks of June”. If Eichhorn has not decided on a new employer by then, Hertha BSC could apparently freely negotiate the transfer fee for the exceptional talent and collect even more millions.

BVB threatens to lose poker for Eichhorn

According to the newspaper’s report, it is unlikely that BVB will win the contract. Accordingly, sports director Ole Book and Co. are still trying to find the central midfielder, but the rumors about Eichhorn moving to the Westfalenstadion are “no longer the hottest,” according to the “WAZ”. It is said that the “financially stronger competition” is currently ahead.

BVB sports director Ole Book had talked about Eichhorn during a media round: “I think he has a certain creativity. We know him well, we like him too. Like probably many other clubs, we like the player. Everything else will be seen.” FC Bayern and Manchester City are also said to be very keen on the shooting star.

On Tuesday, “Sky” revealed that Liverpool FC is now also competing for the DFB jewel. The Reds’ advances should therefore be very intense. There have already been concrete discussions about a possible move for the 16-year-old midfielder to Anfield Road, according to the pay-TV broadcaster, which cites sources from England in this reporting.
