Marc Guiu opened this Friday the victory of the Spanish under 17 team against Canada (2-0) in the opening of the World Cup for the category. The youth squad is living a key moment in his sports career and is doing everything possible not to waste the opportunity.

The striker has gone to this World Cup being already an important footballer on Xavi Hernández’s agenda for the Barça first team. Not in vain in his debut against Athletic he scored the fastest goal by a debutant in the history of the Blaugrana club.

Marc Guiu only needed 33 seconds from entering the field to beat Unai Simón and undo a match that had become very complicated for the team coached by Xavi Hernández.

The goal made Montjuïc explode… including Robert Lewandowski who followed the match with the rest of the injured from the stands. The Pole’s joy was no coincidence. Lewy has become one of the heavyweights in the locker room and as a veteran he does not hesitate to help the young players in any way he can.

In this sense, Lewandowski has become a fundamental support for the coaching staff and an example for the footballers who come up from the quarry to train with the first team. Perhaps that is why Guiu wanted to pay tribute to his teammate after opening the scoring against Canada.

Marc Guiu celebrated his goal against the North American team by imitating the gesture that Lewandowski He has been doing it for three years to celebrate his goals. The youth player joined his fists in front of his chest with his elbows open, in the image and likeness of his teammate and probably his idol.

Lewy began to celebrate this celebration following a meeting with friends in which he explained the gestures made by his eldest five-year-old daughter, Klara, which at that time barely had two. One of those gestures was to join his fists in front of his chest and the Pole began to imitate it every time he scored a goal for Bayern… and until now.
