You just have to keep in mind that Barca field up to 6 U21 players. For me it was a matter of time that the team collapsed.

The way I see it, Flick is already getting everything out of his team: Lewandowski is scoring like he was at his best, Yamal and Pedri have jumped to the next level, Raphinha is playing world class this season, just like Koundé.

Olmo has integrated well into the team, but still needs a bit to really perform at the top level.

With Yamal, Pedri (who recently turned 22), Cubarsi, Casado, Baldé, Gavi, Pablo Torre, Fermín Lopez and most recently Hector Fort, Flick has up to ten U21 players who hardly anyone knew before the season come into play on a regular basis.

In my opinion, given the average age, Barca can hardly maintain the level from the start of the season, the opponents have now adjusted to the young team and on average there is a lack of experience. Given the squad, it was impossible to predict that they would be doing so well. Barca has had massive money problems for years and Flick MUST rely on players from the academy.

My assessment: There will probably be no titles this season, but there is a lack of maturity. Even a flick can’t do anything about it.

But: In my opinion, something really big is happening at Barca. Many successful teams of the last 25 years such as United, Milan, Bayern, Prime-Barca etc. have had a solid team core consisting of homegrown and world-class players for years.

If only a third of Barca’s current talents fully exploit their potential in the long term and Barca can make one or two good catches in the transfer market, they will be a power in European football again in four or five years.
