The financially troubled FC Barcelona is about to transfer another million.
As the club announced on Thursday, it had agreed with Sevilla FC to change French international Jules Kounde.
According to the Catalans, only the medical check and the signing of the contract are pending. According to consistent reports, the transfer fee should be 50 million euros plus 10 million in bonus payments.
Barcelona had previously signed Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich, among others. Kounde, who is currently still recovering from groin surgery performed last month, is set to be handed a five-year contract at Barcelona. Chelsea FC with team manager Thomas Tuchel had recently tried very hard to get the central defender.
