Bundesliga soccer club FC Augsburg wants to give its left-back David Colina (23) more match practice and is loaning the Croatian to Vejle Boldklub in Denmark. The FCA announced this on Wednesday. Colina, who has not yet been included in the Bundesliga this season and has only made one appearance in the DFB Cup, is scheduled to play in Denmark until the summer. His contract with FCA runs until the end of June 2027.
“Especially in his regular position as left-back, where we are well positioned, it has not been easy for David to get playing time in the last few months,” said Augsburg’s sports director Marinko Jurendic. The Brazilian Iago is usually used on the left side of defense at FCA.
