Lidl’s ongoing Vege Week has been disappointing for many tofun eaters. Namely, the unflavoured tofu and the smoked tofu have shone in their absence.

The matter has sparked a lot of social media, and Lidl’s contradictory communication to customers has confused. Namely, some customers have been told that sales of products have been discontinued.

Lidl’s Selection Manager Siiri Oivanen Refused a telephone interview but shed light on the tofumstery for Iltalehti by email.

– Unfortunately, we have been given the wrong information to some of the customers. These are the momentary challenges in the supply chain. The products are expected to return to the shelves as soon as possible, but still during the summer, he says.

Lidl has received a few individual feedback on the product and hoped that it will soon return to the shelves.

Oivanen also points out that there are other tofu in the selection. Based on the discussion in the Somer groups, this does not comfort the friends of VeMono-Tofu.

First told about the matter Hs.
