If you don’t want to miss a game of your favorite club, you need paid TV subscriptions. T-online gives an overview of when in the new season which games run where and what that costs.

When the new Bundesliga season begins on August 22, 2025, not only starts the race for championship, European Cup places and relegation-there are also some changes for TV viewers.

Basically, the following also applies: In order to be able to see all games of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga live on TV or stream, as in the past season you need two subscriptions: one from Sky and one of DAZN. But: For the new season, a new distribution of the transfer rights that affects particularly long -standing fans of the Saturday conference applies.

For the first time in a quarter of a century, this format will no longer run at Sky. The Pay TV station lost the rights to the popular conference on Saturday afternoon. Instead, streaming service DAZN now shows all parallel games on Saturday from 3:30 p.m. in the usual quick circuit. If you want to watch a single game in a complete length on Saturday afternoon, you will continue to be the right place at Sky. And if he wants, can manually switch between the respective games.

As before, Sky will broadcast the top game on Saturday evening at 6.30 p.m. New in the package is the Friday game, which will also be seen at DAZN in the future at Sky instead of as before. All Sunday games, on the other hand, show.

The 2nd Bundesliga continues to run completely at Sky. Only the top game on Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m. will continue to be shown on free TV. From the new season of RTL or his offshoot nitro. The Cologne private broadcaster takes the place of Sport1, where the top game was freely seen in the past seasons.

In addition, only isolated games of the two leagues also run on freely receiving television: Sat.1 broadcasts the Bundesliga opening game between Master Bavaria and RB Leipzig and the Friday game on the 17th and 18th matchday. In addition the relegation games and the Supercup. In the 2nd league, the private broadcaster also has the rights to the opening game and the relegation.

Now the crucial question for all fans who want to have the option to be able to watch your favorite club at all times. Regardless of whether this plays on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays: What do the individual subscriptions cost? At DAZN you have to book the “DAZN Unlimited” package. In the annual subscription, this costs 34.99 euros a month. If you prefer to keep the subscription to be flexible, you pay 44.99 euros in the monthly subscription.
