Network blasphemes via the new Bayern jersey

Only four games left, then the Bundesliga season is over. Shortly before the end of the season, the design of the new Bayern jersey appeared online. Fans are critical.
The FC Bayern championship is getting closer. Eight points have separated the record champion and defending champion Bayer Leverkusen since the last match day. After the unsuccessful 2023/24 season, there is expected to be a title that fans of the club can celebrate.
The new jersey, on the other hand, apparently triggers few jubilants. The well-informed “Footy Headlines” portal has published the first pictures of Bayern’s new home jerseys in the past few days. After all, the jersey is again in the colors red and white, which in addition to the club’s ultras also demanded ex-defender Samuel Kuffour in a legendary vocal performance.
But the design of the jersey only kills a few football fans. At least the first reactions on the social media channels of “Footy Headlines” are rather critical. “This is an insulting ugly jersey,” writes a fan.
Another just asks: “What’s going on with Adidas?” It also says: “How can Bayern fans accept that?”
In addition, the first memes spread over the jersey, in which the two white vertical strips, which run up from the lower part of the jersey, were depicted as towers of the World Trade Center.
However, the opinion is not quite unanimous. “I think it’s cool,” commented a football fan on the X. platform and another writes on Instagram: “I think it’s not that bad.”
