Family of robber who was shot dead accuses jeweler of lies and sabotage investigation: “Next time I’d rather have myself shot”

The family of the 22-year-old robber who shot jeweler Filip Moens (55) is asking justice from the court in Ghent. His father, mother, brother and sister want Moens to be declared guilty and that, in addition to compensation, he also pays for the 23,000-euro funeral in Morocco. At the trial they called Moens a liar. “It’s bad that I killed someone. But my life is also broken.”
