Family of deceased Virginia Giuffre reacts to Andrew’s arrest

Former Prince of Great Britain Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor66, was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of abuse of office. The police investigation is related to the allegations made in the Epstein documents. Andrew was released that evening.

Thursday Virginia Giuffre the family commented on the ex-prince’s arrest in a statement. People– according to the news site, Giuffre’s siblings Sky, Amanda, Roberts and Danny Wilson send their thanks to the British police.

“Finally today, our broken hearts have been relieved by the news that no one is above the law, not even royalty,” the family said.

– On behalf of our sister Virginia Roberts Giuffre, we would like to thank the British Thames Valley Police for their investigation and arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the sisters added.

Giuffre died at the age of 41 in April 2025. At the time, the family said Giuffre took his own life because the burden of abuse became too much for him.

Giuffre sued Andrew years ago, claiming that the businessman Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell allegedly forced her to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was just 17. Andrew has denied the accusations against him.

Giuffre dropped the civil suit and Andrew paid him millions of euros in damages. Epstein, on the other hand, died during pretrial detention in his cell in 2019. Maxwell received a 20-year prison sentence for his role in Epstein’s sex crime ring.

The police have recently investigated the allegations made about Andrew in the so-called Epstein documents. Andrew is known to have been in close contact with the late sex offender Epstein.

Andrew has been at the center of controversy for years because of his Epstein connections. She lost all her royal titles late last year.
