Family of ‘Al Jazeera’ journalist killed in Israeli airstrike: “This is the ‘safe’ area the occupying army talked about”

The wife, 15-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter of Wael Al-Dahdouh, the correspondent for news channel ‘Al Jazeera’ in the Gaza Strip, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday. Al-Dahdouh, 53, was at work when the news reached him. Shortly afterwards, a newsreader from ‘Al Jazeera’ said emotionally that Al-Dahdouh’s family had become victims. The channel then showed images of an emotional Al-Dahdouh holding the bodies of his family members in al-Aqsa hospital in Gaza.
