Lucas Hernández has been an important support at FC Bayern for over three years. Now, however, a family drama has shaken the defensive player’s environment.
The French newspaper “France Football” recently tracked down the 26-year-old’s father, who was believed to have disappeared. Jean-François Hernández turned his back on the family in 2004 and broke off all contact with his sons Lucas and Theo (also professional footballers at AC Milan) and their mother Laurence Py.
Compared to “Bild”, the Bayern star had settled accounts with his father several times. “I never understood, and I will never understand how he could go overnight, that he let us down. Hernández’ dad is now said to be living near Bordeaux, having previously stayed in Thailand for a long time. There he is said to have run a bakery and rented several houses.

The story that “France Football” brought to light is forgiving, but in no way. Because while Jean-François himself does not have a say in the report, his daughter, his ex-wife and other family members made serious allegations against Hernández’s mother.
She was solely responsible for the separation at that time and the breakup of the family and wanted to chase her husband away by any means necessary. After the break, she is said to have forbidden her ex-husband from contact with their children.
Lucas Hernández’s half-sister reports that her father longs for a reconciliation. “He watches the games alone because he’s almost crying from start to finish. It’s very difficult for him.
