Johanna says she has done well with the end of work.

– Sometimes it was ok and sometimes not. However, regular livelihoods ended, so I have the concern, as we certainly have all the unemployed, he describes.

Unemployed

It would be wonderful to know what he has next to Johanna. So far, he has applied for a couple of jobs without success.

– There are not terribly jobs that would in some way correspond to what I think I would fit. I am looking for a monthly salary job where I could get all my skills available to the benefit and joy of an employer. Let’s see what happens.

Johanna has also not received job offers so far from other media houses, for example. He jokes that looking for a job in modern times feels like work.

– It is really laborious and requires its own skills. It seems terrible how people who do not have some or know how to express themselves in writing. So, it has come to me in front of me what you need to do in job search.

Johanna says with a little laugh that her spouse should ask how they will succeed financially before finding a new job.

– If the unemployment period is stretching, then it will go for savings. It is clear that the unemployment benefit is not very strange, says Johanna.

– Now you have to use all possible ways to get employment. Not only for financial reasons, but because I feel I still have a lot of power to work, he emphasizes.

Johanna is aware that YLE will have a restriction obligation for another half -year if they have a job that she has left. So far, no such situation has come. Johanna can’t say what to do if Yle asked her back.

– Of course, one would have to think about what they would offer. Then I can only say if I would go. All offers have to be considered seriously because the alternative is that there is no job, he says.

Johanna started working at Yle in 1991. Johanna wanted to be an announcer because it matched her university studies. Johanna remembers her announcer times with good spirits.

– It was fun to be with people of their own age. The announcements were made straight, so there was a lot of time to socialize with colleagues and, for example, play baseball in the parking lot. That is, the kind of fun things you would like to have every young person in working life, ”says Johanna.

Johanna made her last announcement in March 2012, when the channel reform replaced the announcers with channel sounds. Then Johanna moved New day Drama Series as a web supplier. After four years, he became a web journalist.

Johanna admits that the work of the announcer is very quickly “seen”.

– You are alone in the studio with the camera man and the camera, you say something for 30 seconds, write more texts and deliver them. That is, it does not give me anything for many years, explains the ex-information.

– I started to think really quickly what else I could do here. Then I became a trainer, he continues.

The danger of

In recent years, there has been a lot of talk about how women have been treated in different fields in sexist areas. Johanna says that, of course, she has seen all kinds of things during her 34-year career.

– The way it has been, … I am from a family and family background that has been the mentality of Satakunta sarcasm. It has been pushed forward. So if there have been such situations, then they have not been classified, Johanna says.

– Only afterwards I started to think that maybe there was all kinds of then. But I prefer to look forward and hope that one is understood that certain activities are not proper, regardless of gender, human or age. It would be pretty nice if we behaved, he adds.

What changed?

When asked by Johanna how work has changed over the years, she has a clear answer. In the early days of Johanna’s career, Yle had its own channel deliveries for TV2 and TV1, but for years there have been no such breakdowns with organizational reform. He thinks it’s not a good thing.

– I really enjoyed that old TV2. When I returned my tool and left them in Mediapolis, I only met one high employee. I didn’t see anyone else, even though I went to the makeup room and my former editorial, says Johanna.

– When I went to TV2 in 1991, I think there were over 300 employees. It was a different place then and I enjoyed it and it lasted. But little by little, there were different changes, and then it affected that feeling, he adds.

After all he has experienced and over the kicks, Johanna assures her that she has not so -called burning bridges with her former employer.

– I don’t see any need. I have been able to do a lot of interesting work during such a long career, Johanna says.
