Fall of grandstand: two seriously injured in Bundesliga game

Shortly before the end of the game against promoted Holstein Kiel, a fateful misfortune occurs in the stands in the Frankfurt stadium. The fans react immediately.
Eintracht Frankfurt is concerned about two seriously injured fans. In the 3: 1 (2-0) against Holstein Kiel, a fan fan from the middle rank onto a group of spectators in the awards shortly before the end of the game. Two people were apparently so badly injured that they had to be taken to the hospital. A spokesman for the SBU also said two other people.
Two eyewitnesses report T-Online: “The Ultras immediately took care of the injured and in the short time before the paramedics were on site, did first aid and covered the scene of the accident with flags.” But they also emphasized the quick help, it did not take long until the first supply: “The paramedics were quickly on site.”
“Of course, this is depressed when you notice something,” said a depressed Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller after the game and sent a wishes in the direction of the injured.
Shortly after the final whistle, however, it was still unclear what exactly had happened. The cheers about the victory failed: fans and teams held back, the stadium line did without loud music.
The Toppmöller-Elf, however, won the game clearly and was able to expand the distance in the Bundesliga table to pursuer RB Leipzig to five points. Frankfurt also benefited from the stumbling block of Saxony on Saturday: At FC Augsburg, the ambitious team of coach Marco Rose did not get out of 0-0.
