The AEX is closed above 900 points with a solid win. Prosus, Unilever and ING provided the difference with their weight and profit, where Wolters Kluwer lost ground. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq hold their records on Wall Street. There are strong outliers: Paramount rises 25 percent, Warner Bros 8 percent. After a relatively mild inflation report, investors now take into account that the Fed will lower interest rates in September. The White House, however, demands a reduction of half a percent.
