Underage asylum seekers who commit serious crimes may lose their residence permit. Minister Marjolein Faber (Asylum, PVV) will adjust the rules within two weeks. It also abolishes the current rule that an asylum seeker must be sentenced to a sentence of six months or longer to lose his or her residence permit.
