A thud was committed early this morning in the center of Nieuw-Dordrecht. That happened at 4.30 am at the Rietdekkershof.
The only ATM in the village is located in this street, in De Klink village hall. In a thud attack, an attempt is made, often with an explosive, to break open an ATM in order to get to the money.
The police have, among other things, camera images of the squat. Officers have also spoken to witnesses and local residents. According to the police, this shows that four suspects in dark clothing were involved in the thud. The police do not yet know how and in which direction the suspects fled.
It is also not yet clear whether anything was stolen. A board member of the village hall reports that the interior and exterior are “ruined”.
