The U21 European Championship will take place in Albania and Serbia in two years. During the 2024 men’s European Championship, Albanian fans with hate songs still caused excitement.
The final round of the U21 European Championship will be held in Albania and Serbia in 2027. This was decided by the Executive Committee of the European Football Union (UEFA). There were no other applicants.
The award is quite explosive, during the European Championships in Germany there were hate chants of Albanian fans towards Serbia. The Serbian association then threatened with retreat, but did not implement this.
The opening game will now take place in Serbia in 2027, the final in Albania. Since both hosts have a place in the final round, only 14 teams can secure a ticket through the qualification. This will be drawn on Thursday.
