Experts and doctors happy with mandatory helmet under the age of 18: ‘My IC is full of cyclists with head injuries’

A mandatory helmet for all e-bikers under the age of 18 has to put an end to the growing number of accidents and the nuisance of Fatbikes from 2027. Traffic experts call it a wise step, but doubt whether it is enough. The ANWB and Fietsersbond fear that the helmet obligation is counterproductive.
