Expanded on track in Randstad all afternoon due to malfunctions: especially around Amsterdam

On several routes in the Randstad, hardly or fewer trains run on Sunday due to ‘multiple defective traces’, NS reports. According to a spokesperson, this mainly leads to nuisance around Amsterdam. ProRail also reports that there are much fewer trains to the south of Amsterdam and between Utrecht and Amsterdam.
