Alexander Nübel is currently awarded by FC Bayern Munich. Now a report causes a stir – but does he also say something about the future of the goalkeeper?
This is surprising: The goalkeeper Alexander Nübel, borrowed from FC Bayern to VfB Stuttgart since 2023, remains in the long term to the Munich team. As the “Bild” reported on Wednesday evening, the contract of the goalkeeper at the German record champion in early February was automatically extended by one year to 2030 – by extending the contract by Manuel Neuer by 2026. According to the report, both sides should be on this in April 2024 have agreed special regulation.
The report also states that Nübel is regularly in exchange with Bayern goalkeeper coach Michael Rechner. Nübel was informed early about the transfer of Urbig. “I recorded it neutrally, the exchange was very good,” quoted “Bild” Nübel. “They had to do something.”
Despite the long -term contract period, it is unclear when and whether Nübel will even appear for Bayern. The 28-year-old is currently loaned to Stuttgart by 2026. According to the “Bild”, the Munich-based nübel option has to bring back the Nübel option this summer-but after the contract extension of the new and the obligation of goalkeeper talent Jonas Urbig from 1. FC Köln during the winter break, however, this is almost excluded.
