The clubless ex-St. Pauli goalkeeper Robin Himmelmann is training with VfB Lübeck this week. The regional league team is reacting to the injury-related absences of Eric Grünemann and José Aguirre.
“Robin is currently without a club, Eric is still absent. This is how we can help each other. He gets practice and we have a second training goalkeeper. He’s only there once this week. After that, we’ll see how things are with Eric and how the timing fits with Robin,” Lübeck’s sports director Sebastian Harms explained the measure.
