Coach Christian Streich tested positive for the corona virus one day before SC Freiburg’s Europa League game against FC Nantes (Thursday, 9 p.m.).
A spokesman for Breisgau confirmed this to SWR Sport. This means that Streich will not sit on the Sport-Club bench against the French.
It is the third group game for the free buggers. The first two games against Qarabag Agdam (2:1) and at Olympiacos Piraeus (3-0) the sports club had won in each case.
