For years, Marie-Michèle Gagnon and Travis Ganong celebrated success on ski slopes. After her career, another highlight of her life followed.

A year after their wedding, Marie-Michèle Gagnon and Travis Ganong have reason to be happy again. The first child of the ski couple was born.

Son Felix was born on July 16, as Gagnon announced on Instagram. The 36-year-old wrote under a family photo: “And just like that. Welcome to the world, Felix Ganong.” The Canadian and the former US speed specialist have been a couple for more than 16 years and were considered the dream couple of the World Cup during their active career.

There were numerous congratulations from the ski circus. Among other things, the former World Cup drivers Nici Schmidhofer, Michaela Kirchgasser and Tessa Worley congratulated.

Gagnon won two World Cup races in her career and secured the crystal ball in the combination in the 2013/14 season. In total, she was five times on the podium. In March 2023 she ended her career – together with Ganong. The American celebrated two World Cup victories, won World Cup silver in the 2015 departure and also reached five podium places in the World Cup.
