Former Schalke professional Sead Kolasinac is leaving the French first division soccer team Olympique Marseille and moving to Italy. The defender joins Atalanta Bergamo, the Serie A club announced on Thursday.
After stints in Germany, France and England, where he spent four and a half years with Arsenal FC, this is Kolasinac’s fourth engagement in a top European league. He made 111 Bundesliga appearances for Schalke 04, and the native of Karlsruhe also played 53 internationals for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
