Promoted team RCD Mallorca managed to stay up in the last matchday of the Spanish Primera Division.
The team of former Mexican national coach Javier Aguirre and ex-Schalke player Matthew Hoppe won 2-0 (0-0) at CA Osasuna on Sunday and climbed to 16th place.
In addition to UD Levante with ex-world champion Shkodran Mustafi and Deportivo Alaves, Granada FC is the third team to relegate. They slipped from 16th to 18th place after beating Espanyol Barcelona 0-0 on Sunday.
