Ex-real player died of leukemia

During his active career, he was active for several Spanish clubs, including Real Madrid. Javier Dorado Bielsa has now died at the age of 48.
The former real Madrid player Javier Dorado Bielsa died at the age of 48. He succumbed to leukemia after three years.
Dorado Bielsa started his football career in the Real Madrid youth academy. In 1999 he made his debut for the professional team and played a total of seven games in the following season under the then coach Vicente del Bosque. He also belonged to the team who won the eighth Champions League title in the club history of the “royal” in 2000.
After the season, the left -back was first awarded to UD Salamanca and a year later to Sporting Gijón before moving to Rayo Vallecano in 2002. After further stations at RCD Mallorca and again Gijón, he finished his career for the first time in 2008, but returned to Atlético Baleares in 2011 before finally completing his career.
Dorado Bielsa has been fighting a leukemia since 2022 and had bone marrow transplant last year. Just a few months ago, he had said hopefully. In an interview with the newspaper “El Comercio”, he said at the time: “I’ve been fighting for a while now and hope that this nightmare has come to an end this time that we can go out and have peace.”
Even then he also confessed: “I have been fighting for years, and the hard treatments are demanding their toll, especially when they are over, because they make me a little tired and impaired, but I try to live a normal life.”
Now Dorado Bielsa lost his fight. Real Madrid announced in a message: “The Real Madrid CF, his president and his board, deeply regretted the death of Javier Dorado, youth player and player of the first team of Real Madrid between 1999 and 2000.” The club expressed his condolences to the relatives.
