Keylor Navas has found a new club six months after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. After 14 years in Europe, Costa Rica’s long-time number one is moving to South America. The 38-year-old signed a one-year contract with Argentine first division club CA Newell’s Old Boys.
Superstar Lionel Messi’s youth club is Navas’ seventh professional station, which brought him numerous titles, especially at Real Madrid and PSG. The veteran made six appearances for the Parisians last season and was most recently a regular on loan at Nottingham in the second half of the 2022/23 season. Navas’ commitment is a response to the loss of Lucas Hoyos (35), who tore his cruciate ligament.
