The ambitious Saudi promoted NEOM SC presented a well -known coach with Christophe Gettier. The ex-PSG coach signed a contract on Saturday, which should be valid until 2027. The 58-year-old succeeds the Brazilian Péricles Chamusca, who had made the direct march from the 3rd to the 1st division with NEOM SC last season.
Gettier last stood on the sidelines from October 2023 to the end of June, in 62 games under his leadership, the Katar team won an average of 1.79 points. The NEOM SC has large financial resources due to the support of the Saudi State Fund PIF. Almost 29 million euros in replacement have already been invested for four transfers, with Alexandre Lacazette (34), Saïd Benrahma (29) and Amadou Koné (20) are three entrances from France.
