The days when Antonio Brown made headlines as a football player are over. In the meantime he has been in difficulties several times – now he is to be sought because of attempted murder.
Antonio Brown is again the focus of the judiciary. There is an arrest warrant for attempted murder against the former NFL professional in the US district of Miami-Dade County. This is reported by the “Washington Post”, citing documents, in which she said she received an insight. Now Brown is sought by the police.
A box event in Miami was said to have occurred last month. According to the police, Brown was arrested on site – after shots had fallen. A video is circulating online to show the argument.
Brown explained on platform X that he had been attacked by several people. They tried to steal his jewelry and hurt him. He added: “The police stuck me temporarily until she heard my version of the story and then left me free.” Now he and his lawyers want to check whether he could file a complaint himself.
According to the arrest witness, several witnesses stated that Brown was the shooter. One of the men reported that Brown shot on him twice. Using surveillance videos, he had identified the former football player and explained to know him since 2022. Brown is said to have been unarmed when he was arrested.
The 36-year-old has already conflicted several times with the law. In 2018 he is said to have thrown furniture out of an apartment – a toddler was almost hit. In addition, Brown was accused, among other things, because of too fast driving, alleged sexual abuse and an attack on a truck driver.
