Ex-Eintracht Frankfurt: Juvhel Tsoumou leaves Wydad Casablanca

Ex-Bundesliga professional & globetrotter

For ex-Bundesliga player and globetrotter Juvhel Tsoumou, the football trip continues after a year in Morocco. The 31-year-old and Wydad Casablanca have terminated the contract early. The striker has scored five goals (two assists) in 39 appearances for WAC and, in addition to the Botola Pro Inwi league title, last season also won the CAF Champions League.

“An unexpected departure,” Tsoumou wrote in an Instagram post, but also thanked the club officials, teammates and fans for their time. According to media reports, the attacker did not fit into the plans of new coach Houcine Ammouta. For Tsoumou, who trained with Eintracht Frankfurt, among others, Wydad Casablanca was the eleventh station outside of Germany and the eighth country point on the third continent in his professional career.
