Ex-BVB star Erling Haaland makes explosive decision to change

Former BVB professional Erling Haaland from Manchester City in the English Premier League has allegedly fundamentally changed his previous career plan.

As reported by the “Football Insider” portal, Haaland is said to have decided to stay with the newly crowned English champions and not to move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.

Previously, the 22-year-old only saw the Cityzens as a way station to collect titles and records and then move on to the royals, it is said. Haaland likes it so much in Manchester that he is said to have shelved these plans in the meantime. Instead, it is now clear that he will stay with City at least until 2026.

According to media reports, Haaland should also make it palatable to stay on the island with a new contract with a significantly increased salary.

His current contract with the Sky Blues expires in 2027 and, according to the “Daily Mail”, should already include an annual salary of up to 51 million euros.

Unbelievable numbers and records from ex-BVB star Erling Haaland

Haaland switched from BVB to ManCity last summer thanks to an exit clause for the comparatively moderate transfer fee of 60 million euros.

His record there is impressive: the Norwegian has scored 52 goals in 51 competitive games so far. He also contributed nine templates.

English journalists voted Haaland, who broke numerous records in his first season in Manchester, Footballer of the Year. He relegated competitor Bukayo Saka from FC Arsenal to second place by a clear margin.

After Pep Guardiola’s star ensemble has already bagged the championship in the Premier League, further titles in the FA Cup and in the Champions League beckon. In both competitions, Haaland and Co. are in the final.
