Former BVB professional Jeremy Dudziak has apparently decided on a contract offer from Hertha BSC and remains loyal to the Berlin second division team until next summer.
This reports “Bild”. Accordingly, the 30-year-old was also available in parallel to the Dutch first division club Heracles Almelo. This was financially better endowed than that of Hertha BSC and had a longer term. Dudziak chose the sporting perspective and against the money, it is said.
The all -rounder had been under contract in Berlin since 2023, but at the end of June his contract had expired and was initially not extended.
Instead, Hertha BSC presented him with a new offer to reduced covers in September. “The ball is now with Jerry,” said coach Stefan Leitl at the time.
Sports director Benjamin Weber spoke to Dudziak, the coach continued. “It is about that we can imagine that he will stay – but not in the professional team at first, but that he can recommend training and playing time with the U 23. He needs a lot of playing time.”
FC Schalke 04, BVB, FC St. Pauli, HSV – and now further Hertha BSC
Dudziak asked to think – and has now obviously decided on Hertha BSC, where he initially has to fight back into the professional team.

His last effort for the Berliners dates from August 10, 2024. After that, injuries repeatedly threw him back. He had already kept fit at Hertha BSC.
Dudziak switched from the youth of FC Schalke 04 to BVB in 2009, where he later made his first attempts at the professional sector. In 2015 he moved to FC St. Pauli, in 2019 from there to the city rival Hamburger SV.
Then there followed engagements at Greuther Fürth and on a loan base in Turkey near Hatayspor.
