Ex-Bayern coach probably wants to sell a million-dollar villa

The former Bayern coach bought a property in a prime location just over a year ago. Now the current national coach apparently wants to part with it again. But the ad is strange.

Almost a year ago, Julian Nagelsmann’s time as coach of FC Bayern came to an abrupt end: the German record champions fired the trainer in March 2023, after less than two full seasons in office. Nagelsmann had a lot planned for his time with the Munich team, wanted and should shape a new era – and had bought a property with a house on Lake Tegernsee specifically for this purpose.

But now the 36-year-old apparently wants to part with the property again: The property is advertised on “immobilienscout24”: a 793 square meter plot of land with space for a house with 380 square meters of living space. Total price: an impressive 8.9 million euros.

What’s curious is that the realtor’s pictures advertise a state-of-the-art design building – lots of glass, lots of wood. But the house isn’t there yet – but it could look like this. The 8.9 million euro purchase price consists of 5.3 million euros for the property and another up to 3.5 million euros for construction costs for a house. “Bild” also reports that there is currently only a comparatively simple, white house on the property, which is relatively neglected.

“Take advantage of this unique opportunity and make your dream of a charming villa with a unique lake view come true.” That’s why the real estate agency’s advertisement on “immobilienscout24” says. A house could be built there “over a total of 4 floors. An underground car park for 5-10 cars is also conceivable.”

So it’s quite possible that Julian Nagelsmann will soon lose his last great memory of his time at FC Bayern.
