Surgeons Robert Pierik (Isala) and Peter van Duijvendijk (Gelre Hospitals) have been operating one day a week in each other’s hospital for ten years. On those days they perform complicated cancer operations that do not often occur. This special exchange fits perfectly within the increasingly intensive cooperation between hospitals.
