Evert Sankrediets, editor-in-chief of Privé, would love to join Today Inside. It would also be good to combine with his work for Shownieuws, he says.

Where the new generation has Yvonne Coldeweijer, the reading folder generation has Evert Sankrediets. The editor-in-chief of Privé is one of the most important showbiz journalists in our country. In the spring he caused a stir with the Florida photos of André Hazes Jr. and in the summer he had the scoop on the release of Frank Masmeijer.

Evert wants to go to VI

So Evert is certainly not the first one. And this big name from Dutch showbiz is now offering himself to Today Inside: he would love to join Today Inside. A great opportunity for Johan Derksen and his friends.

When asked whether he likes to sit at the table at VI, Evert answers in the podcast Strictly Private: “Oh, quite! If it’s not about football, and that’s not what it’s about, I think it would be fun. I can also continue straight away, because they are not that far from Shownieuws.”

Fan of Johan

Johan is top notch, says Evert. “I have to laugh about it. It is one of the few people who is authentically speaking his opinion on TV. That he’s pretty obnoxious… Yes, that’s taken him far. I think that sound is worth listening to and I’m glad it’s back on TV.”

Today Inside always scores best with excerpts about showbiz, so inviting a showbiz journalist wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Albert Verlinde, who left Shownieuws, would also be a surprising choice.

Ruben Brekelmans

Incidentally, VVD MP Ruben Brekelmans would also like to join us, reveals regular VI guest Raymond Mens at the VI site. “That’s what he said to me recently, yes. Ruben Brekelmans says: ‘Anytime, invite me.’”

To Wilfred Genee: “I don’t know whether you – because I don’t see them much – like politicians, but with everything that is going on… Ruben Brekelmans, believe me: he will come. And with what is going on in Ter Apel and such, I think it would be good to invite him.”
