A blazing fire in two homes in Geleen on Tuesday morning led to the evacuation of several local residents.
Around 5:00 a.m., the fire brigade was alerted to a fire in a house on Opbraakstraat.

When the firefighters arrived with several fire vehicles, it turned out to be a blazing fire in two homes. The residents have been removed from their homes. Surrounding homes have also been evacuated as a precaution. According to the fire service, all evacuees are received elsewhere. No one was injured.
