Eva Jinek would like to know what the status is with the conversations that Estavana Polman is having with all kinds of TV bosses and throws it at her: “The entire TV world is after you!”
Estavan Polman’s handball career is over and now both RTL and Talpa seem to be interested in her. The men of Today Inside are open to receiving her as a regular guest, just like Hélène Hendriks, for example, while RTL would like to make Better Late Than Never-like reality with her.
Compliment
Eva Jinek put it to her last night in her talk show Eva. “The entire TV world is after you. Everyone wants you.”
Estavana then says: “Yes, but I also find that exciting. You put a lot of pressure on it!”
Eva: “Yes, I like that. I think that’s a compliment for you.”
Estavana: “Yes, it’s also great fun, but I especially want to go on holiday now. There has to be something that suits you. I can’t do that, those autocues you do.”
Beach bed
Eva hopes for more clarity. “That’s not necessary, but we have already seen you on TV and it went very well. I see you lying on that beach bed and your little brain is thinking: what am I going to do on TV? Is that right?”
Estavana: “No. Not on TV yet! First things first. First we have to close things down in Romania. Our daughter is still at school there, she won’t finish that until June, then on holiday and then our new house in September. Just take it easy! You’re moving very quickly now!”
Old man
For the time being, Estavana needs rest, because she is in a lot of pain. “I recently had my MRIs. Well, my back, my knees, it just belongs to an old woman. But luckily I have an old man at home! That makes a difference, hahaha. That kind of outweighs each other!”
Yet she must continue to exercise. “You can’t stop anyway. That’s very bad. They really impressed that on me. In that respect, I’m also a bon vivant and a bit lazy. I have to do something at least four times a week in the first year, because otherwise it is very bad for your heart. Twenty years of top sport is not nothing.”
Beach bed
However, Estavana must continue to work, she emphasizes. “You would say: on a beach bed with a cocktail in your hand and doing nothing, but that is of course not possible! As a handball player it is not the case that you have become a millionaire.”
“You’ve earned a lot of money, but now I just want some rest. I’ll be with you tonight, tomorrow I’ll look at furniture for my new house. I don’t even know what it’s like to live in the Netherlands, I can’t remember anymore.”
