Eva Jinek finds it really hypocritical how Boris Becker complained about their conversation on television afterwards. “It actually says ‘Openhearted’ on the cover!”, shouts NPO’s talk show queen.
Boris Becker did two TV interviews in our country in October to promote his biography: one with Eva Jinek and one with Today Inside. He ended up in a warm bath with the men of VI, but Eva raised a sore point, namely the fact that he cheated and had a daughter out of wedlock. That was very controversial at the time.
‘How about that?’
Boris cheated on him with a Russian model, she pleasured him orally, she held his seed in her mouth and then inseminated herself with it. The result? Daughter Anna.
When Eva confronted him about this issue, Boris shouted: “I had a very nice phone conversation with my daughter last night, for 45 minutes. She is doing well, she is beautiful, she is very smart and we have a great relationship. I am happy about this so-called mistake. How about that?”
Court
Shortly after that interview, he complained in VI about Eva’s tone. “It’s not part of the book. It wasn’t necessary,” he fumed. “You feel a bit like you’re on trial there.”
Silly, Eva thinks. She now responds in the AD: “Becker is coming up with a biography. ‘Candid’ is written on the cover. In the book he talks about all his wrong choices, which even landed him in jail. This story with his daughter was bizarre world news.”
Beautiful daughter
Everyone was talking about Boris’s illegitimate daughter at the time, Eva emphasizes. “It fits into a script for a Hollywood film. And then he comes on my broadcast to talk about his life. Of course I ask how his daughter is doing.”
“He had a great answer, by the way. He had spoken to her two days ago. It was a mistake that turned out fantastic, he said. ‘I have a beautiful daughter’.”
‘Go somewhere else!’
No agreements were made in advance that this would not be the case, Eva emphasizes. “People ask in advance what we are going to talk about. Boris Becker knew it would be about his time in prison. About his life.”
“We would also watch a few videos, but we never show them in advance. And we never ask the questions in advance. If guests want, they can sit somewhere else.”
