ESNS 2024 is over again. For four days, Groningen was the music capital of Europe. The showcase festival ended on Saturday with Noorderslag, the annual music party for Dutch pop music. Fortunately we still have the pictures.
The 38th edition of ESNS attracted 40,000 visitors. About 4,000 of them were music professionals, participating in the music industry conference. 280 European acts performed, of which 52 were Dutch at Noorderslag. And Joost Klein, from Friesland, walked away with the Pop Prize (10,000 euros and a statue).
There you have ESNS 2024 in a nutshell. Oh yes, Italy will be the focus country at Eurosonic next year, after Poland made a big impression this year with some acts we won’t soon forget.
