FC Utrecht has started the European adventure with a resounding victory in Moldova on Sheriff Tiraspol. Through goals from Victor Jensen, Nick Viergever and Adrian Blake, Ron Jans’s team worked with a 3-1 victory a solid foundation for the third preliminary round of the Europa League. Next week FC Utrecht can do the first job on its way to the group stage of the Europa League in its own Galgenwaard.
