The airports in the Aena network that have been affected are those of Madrid-Barajas, Alicante-Elche, Barcelona-El Prat, Bilbao, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Málaga, Palma, Seville, Tenerife South and Valencia.

For its part, the German railway company Deutsche Bahn (DB) has reported that, due to the arrival of winter in southern Germany, rail traffic has been seriously affected and that “there are train cancellations.”

The company warns that the cancellations and delays, which began this Saturday due to heavy snowfall, They will also continue this Monday.

And it reports that train circulation has been interrupted in, in addition to the entire metropolitan area of ​​Munich, the routes that connect this city with Salzburg and Innsbruck (both in Austria), Lindau/Zurich and the route between Stuttgart and Singen/ Zurich.

In Munich, public transport has also stopped circulating because the snowplows cannot cope when removing the snow.

Also in Austria there have been numerous interruptions in the road traffic and railway connections. Dozens of towns have even been left without electricity.
