Barça have to play against United
The pairings for the Europa League playoffs were also drawn in Nyon on Monday afternoon after the Champions League round of 16. The third-placed teams from the “premier class” group stage will meet the runners-up from the Europa League preliminary round. As the winner of its group, SC Freiburg, on the other hand, has already qualified for the round of 16, which will not be drawn until February 24th.
1. FC Union Berlin meets Eredivisie record champions Ajax Amsterdam in the playoffs. Bayer Leverkusen must prevail against AS Monaco and ex-striker Kevin Volland. The cracker duel increases between FC Barcelona and Manchester United.
The round of 32 matches will take place on 16 and 23 February, with the Europa League runners-up playing the first leg away. The round of 16 will then take place on March 9th and 16th. The final will be played at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary on May 31st.
