The Member States of the European Union reached an agreement at the extra European top on Thursday about strengthening European defense. Among other things, they ask the European Commission to further work out its plans to pump extra money into the defense industry. In addition, an agreement was also reached on further support for Ukraine, but that happened without the support of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. “An isolated Member State does not mean that there is division,” the European Council President Antonio Costa responded afterwards.
